Humanoid Robot Joints: Light and Precise — Both Required

A humanoid robot joint weighs under 350g yet must output 20-100Nm of torque — demanding a whole different level of material and machining precision. Ultra-thin-wall machining of 7075-T6 aluminum and Ti6Al4V titanium makes deformation control the biggest challenge — a 0.5mm wall thickness part warps with just a bit too much cutting heat.

How Bisite Solves It

We developed a proprietary low-stress machining process for humanoid robot customers — optimizing tool paths and cutting parameters to keep machining deformation within 0.01mm. Hard anodizing and PVD coating are done in-house, with dimensional tolerances controlled throughout — parts are assembly-ready out of the box.

Iterating with Domestic Leaders

Bisite currently serves 3 humanoid robot companies, participating from the concept prototype stage to help customers optimize part manufacturability. We do not just take a drawing and execute silently — we proactively suggest improvements: this fillet radius is too small for the tool, that wall thickness can increase 0.1mm to double strength without affecting weight. Customers increasingly want to show us new designs first.
